who are we and what do we do?

Aston le Walls Parish Council consists of a maximum of 7 elected councillors who serve for a four year term. All Councillors are voluntary and receive no payment whatsoever.

Council Meetings are normally held in the Village Hall on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Most years, there are no meetings is August or December – see the diary of meetings for more information.

Aston le Walls Parish Council maintains the war memorial, street lighting, grass verges, bus shelters, benches, noticeboards and provides facilities or finance for many village organisations.

The Parish Council leases the land occupied by the Pocket Park.

Councillors

Our councillors are elected or co-opted. Currently, there are no vacancies. However, if you would like information about becoming a councillor in the future or want to find out more about what they do, then please contact the Clerk

Committees

Aston le Walls has no specific committees. All task are handled by the full council.

Our Staff

We have just one member of staff on the Parish Council: the Clerk. The Clerk guides and assists us in delivering the range of services we provide. The primary point of contact for anything regarding the Parish Council is the Clerk.
